Unlikely to happen with a top club but could definitely go on to reignite career similar to how salah did after going to Italy. Though probably on huge wages and hard to shift !

Indeed

For a freebie he's been pretty good, but his injury issues and lack of natural fitness means we can't view him as more than a backup option.

Think we all knew next summer was going to be a rebuild for the defence. Done the forwards, the Mids this summer, now the defenders need looking at and Matip leaving is probably the start of that.

Think he’s been a brilliant freebie signing. Was very underrated for a couple year period when he was able to just play 1 game a week and stay fit. His ability to bring ball out of defence was great as it drew players out of position to free up others.

No qualms about him moving on end of the season, he came, won everything and by most of what see online is brilliant around the squad.
