Unlikely to happen with a top club but could definitely go on to reignite career similar to how salah did after going to Italy. Though probably on huge wages and hard to shift !

Great retirement league. Lots of money and you don't have to break a sweat playing. When I used to play rec over 30's league it was a lot more energetic than that.

Indeed For a freebie he's been pretty good, but his injury issues and lack of natural fitness means we can't view him as more than a backup option. Think we all knew next summer was going to be a rebuild for the defence. Done the forwards, the Mids this summer, now the defenders need looking at and Matip leaving is probably the start of that.
tbf thought at WC they were perfectly reasonable and better than i expected particularly as it didn't look like they had parachuted outsiders into the team .
Think he’s been a brilliant freebie signing. Was very underrated for a couple year period when he was able to just play 1 game a week and stay fit. His ability to bring ball out of defence was great as it drew players out of position to free up others. No qualms about him moving on end of the season, he came, won everything and by most of what see online is brilliant around the squad.
