Everton FC will look to bring former Liverpool midfielder Raul Meireles to the club after being put on the transfer list at current club Fenerbahce, according to reports in Turkey. The Turkish giants are looking to revamp their squad, which means getting rid of most, if not all, of their current foreign player quota.
Apparently Everton are in for Shaqiri. Still can't believe more clubs aren't in for him - insanely talented player. Played limited games at Bayern but delivered when he played - was unfortunately that he had Robben, Ribery, Gotze and Muller to compete with.
No idea what's going on there. Also, player that we wanted last summer and that in January we wanted to buy this summer, is now available, and we're not interested. What's changed? Bad blood between the two? Wonder what @donga darko would say if he went to Everton?
There is 0 chance they will sell to Chelsea. Theyll aell ell avroad if he kicks up a huge fuss and with around 4 years left on contract under no pressure to sell
At 12m EUR, he's certainly worth a punt! Same applies to Kono who is available on a free. Some quality cheap signings out there - I guess we just love overspending on PL dross.
Clyne? If not, then to be fair, we haven't done that (at least not in terms of transfer fees) since last summer...yet.
Rumours on twitter of West Ham going for Lacazette Feel we need a pacey/exciting winger/forward still. Kono is still a free... Would love Jese from Madrid.
Lacazette is looking increasingly realistic. But why? Have the clubs scouting him learnt some thing? Is he not as good as he looks?
Ridiculous Even more reasons to be nervous of that first game now. Can't believe Inter have been so eager and quick to get rid.
Its a strange one that's for sure..........on the one hand some really rate Shaqiri,so why isn't there a long list of clubs after his signature? On the other hand,Hughes has a track record of picking up these gems, often for good prices. (McCarthy,Santa cruz,Zabelleta,Kompany,Bojan)
Reminds me of when West Ham got Mascha and Xabi although Shaqiri probs not as good... agent (connections to Stoke??) and money probably the reasons
Psg have had their FFP restrictions lifted so can go spend what they want now and have 25 man squad instead of 21... who'd have thought the French club would get lenient treatment from platini?!
