I'd be surprised if we spent that much, but very much a utility player can play midfield, fullback, wing... A lot of overlap there with a certain outgoing legend... I can see why Klopp would want him.
Because I doubt he has many other clubs after him. I feel sorry for him because he had asked to leave last summer but we stupidly priced him out of a move.

I think would be a good move for him if a manager wants him. But could easily move there, be out of favour cos not the type a new manager fancies and then be shafted further down the pecking order.
Ironically think he’d be perfect for dyche’s Everton or Big Sams Leeds.
Someone that’s gonna play a deeper line where pace won’t be exposed and his main job is to block the ball and head it away.
Didn't he go on loan to Bournemouth? That would have been a decent move for him had they made him an offer.
look I sincerely doubt he cares as he is on 60k a week so is clearing 3mil for sitting there.

Kovacic confirmed to city. Solid squad player there. Have always liked him, not sure quite same quality and impact as gundogan but a solid player to keep things moving. Interesting if they do get rice how they’d line up.
