Well unless they get money they have mortgaged the future on not being relegated so parachute payments are gone. they need a big fee or two to rebuild.
I always find it a bit mad the way some managers want to manage at several 'top 6' clubs. (I know Chelsea slipped up this season). Mourinho, Rafa, Villas-Boas, Conte now Pochettino. Rafa made a couple of head-scratching moves tbf. One of the things that endears Klopp to us is his love of the club, the city and the culture. I can't imagine him ever going to Spurs, utd or Arsenal. It would feel like a betrayal. Some fans say, like they did with Rafa, that it's just another job and shouldn't tarnish their reputation with us but for me it falls somewhere in between.
and I'm not even then sure what they can do. 3 more on 100k a week and quite thr issue with cash flow. a lot of ordinary folk just lost their jobs there.
