I remember the praise and hype but also remember saying it was being blown out of proportion. People were getting carried away because he was young, English and come from the lower leagues. Never did enough on the pitch imo
I was very critical but he started to turn things around at one point with his performances. Funnily enough, he happened to have a run without injury then too.
Yeah but in the end who's giving him a contract of any note bar us? I'm sure it's probably to give a little reminder he still exists
I'm surprised we've not cashed in on him this summer tbh. But then, I also thought Salah and/or Bobby would go with Mane most likely of the front trio to stay
He'll probably be sold next summer to fund a move for Bellingham. Only way we make big signings is by selling.
Maybe he's one year then? Ox is 100% out of contract next June. Well have to check but right now we lose 3 cms next summer in milner, Ox and keita. 2 more will be 32 and 33. That screams issues to me and we are sat with klopp saying all is well.
Well Ox and Milner are practically worthless in terms of transfers. Losing Keita and Firmino without any money coming in is a big blow.
I think that's why both were at least.mentioned for contracts. The second its September all the power goes to them then. I still cannot see how keita thinks he's getting a better contract.
Pandemic ****ed our sell to buy approach, we missed the peak value of quite a few players, particularly Salah.
The list is probably quite long. Wilson comes to mind. Lost 10mil there Origi maybe. Though his peak value was well before. Phillips we still can't shift.
Well there is small matter of winning things as well, we got distracted actually delivering. I don't personally think we really wanted to sell the players who were sold but we made the best of it
If he went to Southampton maybe a quick turnaround before window closes to come to us. But not from Wolves.
