The best evidence we are not selling his is the fact he played 45mins yesterday. There's just no way we would risk a transfer deal with a preseason kick about and never have done in the past. Let's see what happens
How much is his wage per week and how long can he fake injury. The world cup is close so he will not want to miss that I suppose but I am going to assume once its over he will take a year off on juves expense.
That just.means he doesn't think he will go as he can't get a game here. Well 20 games with 3 long injuries last year does that Bobby. Does he realise that vlahovic, Cheisa amd several other lesser lights are there already? Anyway. Jog on if you want to go is my attitude just like salah or mane. There's always another player.
Everton sign McNeil. thought he looked like a player when broke into Burnley team but was pretty poor last year, albeit in a poor side. He seems a bit more like a traditional old school left winger, down the line and out crosses in, so be interesting see if he continues like that, or switches to the right so can cut inside more.
Interesting signing. Think he could be decent with good coaching, but not sure if either Lampard or Everton generally are the best place for it. Could go either way.
Am on holiday in Turkey so catching up on the gossip. I would genuinely be much more unhappy at losing Bobby that I was Mane. Strange but true.
Agreed but think it’s because Bobby epitomised the new era for me more than most….we all have our favourite players I suppose…

Now we all know barca are nut cases who offer mad wages BUT...... this all has to start spinning some specualtion as to what was going on under chelsea with the oligrach's money. Chelsea have signed sterling and koulibaly this window who are BIG money in wages but not players actually in demand really. What is going on with the dark side of the game, I have to wonder if some prior scheme of behind closed door payments may have existed to players and agents as chelsea had no bother securing players for RA and in fact players never looked twice at other clubs.
can't see it myself as just like City players actively push for moves . Backdoor payments to keep wages down are much more likely for execs as less likely to become public .
I just wonder about this stuff cos the declared city wages for certain players were eye catching given they never ever kick up or looked for a move and would have been in major demand. The thing that occurred to me was that agents who would not be based in england might well be seeing huge inducements to keep their player where they were rather than jump ship for that 20mil slice. In short you could have had an agent not agitating for a mover and allowing their player sign up for whatever wage cos the got a massive back pocket payout. Chelsea and city put non playing wages through holding companies for sure but that was "tax compliant" so when we had a was of 3mil it included every match day burger flipper, yet both of these were not declaring half the spend for FFP.
City players have though Sane , Torres being obvious ones and tbh considering how much stuff they win most will be happy to stay and pick up money and trophies .
Sane is one but he did seem very eager to play, maybe german national team came into it? Or maybe he wasn't induced to stay or maybe his agent in Germany wasn't able to take bribes? torres was an odd one for sure. he was only in a wet weekend. the common denominator between torres, raphinha, kounde is Barca so on the other side of this question is what on earth are barca offering agents and players to convince them this madness is sustainable?
Think players just get sucked in by the "Barca" image . Thing is they only really became a force after Cruyff ,and even then dipped after him, so they haven't actually got the history of Real Madrid .
