unfortunately like Spurs think they may have decided hiring a good manager and letting him get on with it was worth a try .
Well spurs get 6 months and if nothing better comes along conte might even stay. He was angling to get out after 3 months last year but they got on a good enough run to prevent him jumping to the next job. If it doesn't come off this time round and start paying back those fees and debt.... Well let's see if spurs have it right as it looks fairly good at this point before a ball is kicked. Tin hat at utd is having a swimmingly good intro until the **** hits the actual fan
TEST: https://www.sporcle.com/games/FourFourTwo_/liverpools-50-biggest-transfer-fees?t=liverpool Can you name our biggest transfers (and yes before you ask 90% of the fees are complete rubbish so focus on the selling club and date.
City offer 30mil for cururella. They've only taken in more than they've spent are they thinking if barca can get away with it why can't we?
Given its city and you know they want him i think Brighton should hold out for at least 55? given cancelo cost 58mil and walk (whos ****) 47mil, AND mendy (filthy bastard) 51mil..... i hartdly think city have a leg to stand on submitting 30mil. thats a joke given their historic spending on rapists and conspiracy nuts.
Especially when they’ve just sold zinchenko for £32m. Brighton have put £50m price tag on him which is £35m Profit from the £15m release clause they paid last summer so not bad business. Problem is, he was vital for them last season in the lwb role, don’t really have anyone else that can play there if he goes
I'd absolutely scald city cos they are good for it. they don't usually wander off and buy someone else.
Liverpool are ramping up their efforts to sign Sporting Lisbon midfielder Matheus Nunes ahead of the new season. That’s according to Portuguese outlet Correio de Manha. They claim that Nunes is Liverpool’s top transfer target for the rest of the summer, and is now seen as a ‘priority’ by The Reds. Further to that, Liverpool are reportedly ‘preparing to start negotiations’ with Sporting as they ready a bid. The price is claimed to have been long-since set by club president Frederico Varandas. That will be £38.4m up-front, with £4.2m expected in add-ons.
Wijnaldum set to leave psg this summer. that move went well… Could have been here on a 3 year deal earning slightly less and playing most weeks winning 2 cups and maybe being difference to winning prem or CL. instead went on sat on psg bench for a year, won a cup and league by default, earned lots of money and now will be shipped out to a mid table club
those medals don't even count. they are the equivalent of gold covered chocolate coins. nobody takes that league or cup seriously and worse its oil doping money. bloody money same as LIV golf, you can't "blame" a person taking 45mil of blood money to be an also ran in LIV golf and not the European captain cos its... ****ing 45 ****ing million FFS. But you don't have to like it or forgive it either. Windy took the money. He gets what he gets. He'll not be a legend of LFC lore really as a result. same as torres. gerrard "stayed" and frankly he could have have more medals and money elsewhere but he'll never be able to buy the status he will enjoy when he is 60 and 70. Kuyt. legend. torres not a legend sterling. nobody anywhere at any of his clubs will look back and call him a legend.. a money grubber Coutinho. nope not one.
Tyler Morton rumoured on loan to Blackburn. If he gets to play regularly could be a great move for his development
Clarkson went there last year and only played 7 games so would hope if he does go then there are some guarantees about game time. He looked very comfortable when playing last season, just needed to bulk up a bit so hopefully a loan will give him that
I think they've got a new manager, could be wrong but if they have then hopefully we won't have to pull him out like we did with Clarkson who was being ignored.
I think that would be good. He needs toughening up. the only proviso is we send clarkson last year and he never got a chance so any loan has to have conditions. If a manager wants a player they have to play him or get a massive ****ing bill as one season not playing in championship turned a potential 15mil asset (30 game sin championship) into a 1mil asset (nobody will touch him)
yup. Tony mowbray was manager when elliott went he was also manager with Clarkson went jon Dahl Tomasson is now manager the only thing is when elliott went they finished 15th and the year before it was 11th. when clarkson went they finished 8th. The risk here is how much to Blackburn actually "need" the player and how much do they want to get promoted. I'd be sceptical at risking the kids development on a club with form. Overall my view is our loan manager needs to up his game cos if he places a player he needs to be confident that they are ready for the demands but also is more than ready to terminate that loan and short that club. we left williams where he was far too long last year. The lad never got a sniff and all the swansea manager did was making nice comments any time the review was coming up and we continued on. We've taken Rhys Williams as a 5mil asset? and made him an 500k asset with that loan.
