He definitely signed a five year deal but if he signed another last summer, that's even worse.

I think he tried to negotiate a pay rise after the City Deal fell through, but don't think he got anywhere. He certainly wasn't looking for an extension to his exisiting deal (six year deal in 2018 that runs out in 2024).
Yeah and he won't be leaving spurs ever now imo. He's too expensive for everyone and 29 soon. City got Haaland, which is the better choice imo too
Nkuknu would be the ideal Mane replacement for me but I have this feeling that we want to an outright number 9 i.e. Darwin Nunez.
If we do get him, then we will have to tweak our system - maybe we go 4231 or if we stick with the 433, then we need to upgrade the RCM role (sorry to the Hendo fans but we need more dynamism in that role) because we will need that extra creativity.

Can Nkunku play on the right to cover/replace Salah?
Though he's trying to entice PSG.
He can play pretty much across the front line - he has goals and creativity. I think Diaz could also play RW as well.

hes not a total 9 anyway. he is just a mix of both power and pace and would easily do a origi off the left.
Outside of the box, Darwin is limited. He's not creative nor can he pass. And we already have someone like that in the team - Jota.
Will be interesting to see how we would use and develop him.
