I think in the background "we can't know" @SIR_KENNY_KLOPP_KING stuff may be going on where players are going and the spurs sniffing about is a risk we don't want to take. IF we are even in here. Cos TBH the club nodded that he wasn't a January target at all in December so I do suspect spurs interest has us interested in making this happen. The stars may also be aligning on transfers as this January deal will fall in one financial year and not the next one due to the timing. Our net spend in accounts up to may 31 2022. will be 10mil (as grujic is meant to be a summer 10mil payment?) minamino bid leeds - 10-15mil origi - anywhere- no real value Phillips - newcaslte/watford? we want 15 williams - unlikely (not sure who really wants him) the other rumour is we are offering cash plus add ons like we did with jota.
They have been working together for a year or so. £37m plus £12m in add ons........ Nothing like waking up to a new signing
exactly, its a silly thing for the journo to say about the guy we've finally got to replace the useless michael edwards
hey. Once Edwards is out the door i need a new routine don't I? bigging this chump up like he's god's gift before Jimmy does seems like a plan
What a lovely start to a Friday morning! Very much a Jota / Mane / Salah profile player (maybe slightly older) and his underlying stats are similar to our current attackers prior to moving to Liverpool. I presume he will be the long term Mane replacement since he plays in the same position. Will be great to have him as option for the remaining months of the season !
Julian Ward is to succeed sporting director Michael Edwards in the summer. Both have got Liverpool into pole position to sign Luis Diaz but that’s all it is at this stage. Liverpool are sending a delegation to Argentina in anticipation of doing a medical there. Argentina is where Colombia play next after tonight’s game at home to Peru. The medical will be a logistical challenge and that means a delay. There is still lots of jeopardy because of where the player is and how important the games are to Colombia. There is a lot of things to wade through to get this over the line. It won’t be a quick process which it could have been by flying to Portugal, assuming Liverpool reach an agreement with Porto which they haven’t yet. 72 hours is a more likely timescale and far from straightforward. skysports update no agreement with porto or player and apparently we are flying a medical team out.
Diaz stats prior to this season weren't much to get that excited about and he hasn't played here so i won't get too excited .
Liverpool are willing to consider offers for Minamino and Origi in the knowledge that their game time is likely to be limited between now and the end of the season if as expected the Diaz deal goes through, as per @JamesPearceLFC
He profiles very similarly to Salah, Jota and Mane before they moved to Liverpool. He definitely has the numbers currently which can be scaled up when he moves into our team / system. please log in to view this image
