You'd be surprised ... some fans would prefer to keep hold of a 5th choice centre back who has no future at the club instead of using that money to reinvest in the first XI.

Of course, this is all tongue in cheek!

some fans also say our first choice left full is rubbish and has no end product despite being second highest current assist maker in the prem (total) and having 8 assists in 8 games <whistle>

Exactly. Robbo has re-found form, partially helped by having competition who a) allowed Robbo to have a rest and b) provider some healthy competition.

Not bad for £7m I suppose. Shame Taki doesn't provide the same impact ...

I doubt that mito, I can see someone picking him up for a lot less. Also his weekly wage won't be as much as that, he's still a kid.
I think we are genuine contenders for this lad............£70m maybe?

You think so from dortmund?

They have haaland to go next as hottest property going and realistically don't want for cash at all so thus is really down to if sancho was 75 with contract starting to run down then this lad has a contract that says $$$$$ to dortmund.
 
just to sum up bellingham

Contract expires: July 2025
Games played for dortmund: 18/20 in league with one suspension and missed only game injured. 6 games in CL and 3 assists and 1 goal.
total stats: 74 games played 8 goals 14 assists in league. 6 so far this season.

Its sae to say we are talking about the premier midfield starlet in europe here.


So when haaland has 79 games played and 80 goals scored for dortmund plus 36 assists to go with it then yeah ok there might be an argument to say which player does Dortmund want to keep when their door is being beaten down for both. (haalands contract is to 2024.)


25 mil for bellingham. 20mil for haaland. LFC could have competed for both.

we competed for neither.

We can have the same argument about raphinha contract is out to 2024 also. so he will be quite expensive if leeds don't need to sell by virtue of nothing being one of the 3 worst sides in the prem.
