i hear he's not much of a point anyway.

Ronaldo is quite dismissive of agent ole's credentials.

Seen an article on solanke and his development into a fine championship, player.

Apparently Bournemouth have now paid us 24million in total for him and we have a 20% of profit clause over that to come.

He scored 15 and assisted 11 last season and this season is already on 14 goals this season with less assists as he has moved to their finisher. 14 in 18.

Good for him and good for us.

Bit like Mitrovic. Good champ player, not quite good enough for the prem.

Often wonder why. Sure the top teams have better defenders and are general a better 'team' but those sides around them aren't massively better. These players should still be able to bag a few, just not the figures they get in the championship. Maybe it's mentally too though

I dunno but the lad couldn't hit the side of a barn for us so either he's got some confident or just got his team playing to him as a focus or whatever.

To be fair, while you're probably right, he was still young when he left us and went down so he's probably developed since then. Might actually be good enough for the Prem now. Mitrovic is 27 now and has had enough chances to prove himself at Prem level.

Edwards confirmed will be leaving at end of the season. Julian Ward who has been his deputy over last year will take over.

    No loss.

Dont let the door hit him on the way out. He'll probably drop like keita and take 6 months to leave on full pay.

makes sense. He needs to prove himself in the PL before Klopp leaves. Risky for him though.

Gerrard to Villa without a lot of cash is not only risky, it is possibly a club that will have unrealistic expectations.

However if you look at what he has available to him there as players it's not too bad.

Striker wise he should have no trouble, goalie is good, he has mings there as well, the issue is really midfield there, I would want a few 100 mils to get in a midfield. If I were him I'd be the one to grab coutinho.

Buendia and McGinn are decent midfiekd options. Bailey out wide. There’s a half decent team in there.

They are only half decent though.

Smith had a poor run of games but the opponents they've had were tough. I think they played Newcastle and Watford early on but have been playing the likes of Chelsea, utd, arsenal, West ham etc.

I think they have pulled the trigger on Smith early but probably secretly wanted to for the next step for these rich owners.

I think Gerrard would need 2 or 3 to up this sides fortunes to top half but it would be interesting to see how he could work with the players he would start with
