It might give Martial the kick up the jacksie he so desperately needs...

And the others should be able to learn a lot from him. Given the amount of positions they cover, they'll probably be playing with him as much as under him.

He needs to do a Lukaku - leave, lose some weight, find the player of four years ago. Looks a shadow of his former self, which is sad as he was some player once. (Probably an evil, vicious lie, all that).

Martial is another Depay, thinks he is something but the head goes as soon as he loses the ball or ****s up a shot.
Two really talented players with absolutely no drive.

You will understand your forward line more than I.

I ask this seriously do you really think he is going to provide you with enough to push on?
Ronny? not sure produce wise but his attitude and drive will certainly rub off on the younger lads and will hopefully kickstart their development.

I actually think the affect he has on opposing players will be a big help (at least for a while) because they will be concentrating on him more than others.

He will also improve our scoring rate in general without doubt but be a greater threat than anyone we have at set pieces (great positioning/runs and superb header).

For me it's the mentality that might make the difference. United have a talented squad and the recruitment has improved in recent windows. But the points have only really improved incrementally and since Fergie left they've only won second-tier competitions like the Europa. Under Ole that didn't look lile changing. You look at the United team and ask where the leaders are, the big-game players, the one's who'll keep going no matter what. The Europa League final demonstrated the paucity. Ronaldo is that sort of player, and if he and Ole can instill that mentality in the rest of the squad, that will be what moves them forward. In my opinion at least.

It's the same thing that held us back for decades, and is arguably Klopp's greatest achievement with us.
