serious question. I could make a list make of the guys you've gone at. henderson, milner, (brexit midfield) now phillips. I'm sure there are others, not matter how hard they work it never matters. why?
I think he'll be a bit part player at best. Done well in the championship but that's a massive step up to reach the required standard to play for Liverpool
No. If Matip leave I’d want another given Gomez has picked up couple niggles and never know how Gomez vvd will come back from their injuries. Easy to pick up small muscle injuries after long lay off
Would keep him around as 5th choice. Gomez gets injured every season, so it essentially makes him 4th choice. Assuming we sign Konate
would like to see him get chances next season. Let’s be honest cant make any less of an impact off the bench than Shaq or origi have done this season. We don’t have any other left footed players other than Salah (although Jota seems a rare breed that is very capable with both) so Elliott would add that flexibility wide right or even in midfield as part of a front 4 in an attacking midfield role. Agreed it was ‘only the champ’ but at same time. He’s 17.. and champ is known as a psychical league abs he’s held his own. Add in he’s playing with better players with us. Quite a few his assists were through balls into the forward so could see him working well in that number 10 role as he’s more a tricky player rather than pace which is what we have out wide.
Sorry for the very long winded post. With salah at rw I think an 18 year old needs to play. I think another loan will happe
Yep I’d be surprised if it’s not already done behind the scenes. Very talented centre back who will probably start alongside VVD. Matip and Gomez as back ups. Still concerned though given the injury records of them all.
Have to agree. Not bursting pace. It's all about end product as a result. He has to play to develop and add.more.
Does that carragher lad read not606. Bastard just robbed my lines. Freshening up. Down the spine. CB, CM, CF. Unbelievable
I think he did an ok job all things considered and deserves some praise, but I agree he is not good enough for us in the medium/long term. We should look to sell him this summer while the goings good and reinvest. Its a shame in a way but we need to aim higher than Phillips.

VvD just returning form a serious injury - will have niggles at least Gomez not yet back from an even worse, career threatening injury Matip = glass Konate - no idea but reading some comments, it appears that he’s had a few injuries if it’s just these four, we’re asking for trouble
