If anyone wants to know why I hate it when LFC shop from the domestic market, here's why:

Over the past 5 years, we have spent;

£50m to Soton
£35m to Newcastle
£26m to Sunderland
£20m to Villa
£15m to Swansea
£8m to Blackpool

That's £152m spent on mid table players at British mid table clubs.

Fallacy. When you're near the top of the league other top clubs won't sell to rivals so midtable is the best you can do.

You prefer buying from lower leagues instead?

What, like City buying Nasri, Clichy and Sagna you mean?

Or Van Persie going to United?

Or Torres going to Chelsea?

Sure

Denis Cheryshev, Real Madrid
“I have no idea as to what is going to happen," he said.

“I’ve spoken to my Villarreal manager Marcelino and he confirmed that they hope to have my services next season but that’s all. I don’t know where I’ll be next season.

“If no ‘irresistible’ offer comes through, then my first option would be to stay with Villarreal.”

"I was surprised Brendan Rodgers made changes to backroom staff at Liverpool. I will be interested to hear his reasons why.”

Adam Lallana is pleased Liverpool have managed to bring in James Milner, saying the midfielder has "shown ambition" by choosing to move to Anfield.

“James Milner, he’s a fantastic player," said Lallana. "He’s played his whole career in different positions.

"He’s won so many caps, won titles and trophies with Manchester City and it’s great for Liverpool to sign someone like him.

"James is going to be a vital addition to the squad. He’s a complete role model.

“He’s got unbelievable ability and sometimes people don’t appreciate that in the way they should. Left foot, right foot, got a goal in his locker and always fit. He’s the perfect player.

“It’s a big statement that he chose to come to Liverpool, shows that he’s got ambition. He could have easily stayed at City, but he chose us.

“He’s versatile. He won’t kick up a fuss if he’s asked to play in a different position. It’s a team game and sometimes you have to sacrifice yourself for the team."

he could mean in the sense how come he isnt taking any responsibility for anything and getting rid of those around him to make out they was the problem not him.

"Once you get there you’re going to see a ball of fire in the sky. Do not be alarmed. It’s called the sun.”
