Minamino makes 2 .Not sure about 'consistently' because we've only signed one first team player (Adrian) in two or three windows prior to this one. Agree with the rest

Tsimikas this year
Taki last year along with adrian
The year before there where quite a few along with allison
So being as weve brought at least one in every year I'd call that consistent

This season is going to be very condensed, something that hasn't happened before. With this in mind and taking onboard and agreeing with previous comments about Klopp knowing what he's doing, he hasn't faced this type of managing before and doesn't know the impact on his players this type of season will have.
I'm not one to clamour for new signings either but I think the closeness of games that we will be experiencing this season will be different to what we normally have when CL games kick in. It will potentially be games every 3 days for large parts of the season and for that reason I think we need maybe one or two additions to the squad to cope with that. Klopp won't overplay the youngsters and that is really the only alternative with the amount of and speed at which the fixtures will be coming at us. It's unprecedented times and unchartered waters. We need to be fully prepared and equipped for it.

We haven't replaced Lovren. Fabinho can play there and we have two youngsters Van den Berg and Koumetio who could come off the bench but another experienced CB would be good.I'm fair confident of at least one other signing coming in, as long as we don't lose anybody we should have enough. If we have an injury crisis we may struggle, but any club would, you need luck as well as skill to do well.
Yes you're right but most are buying players. No one else as experienced this type of season before either
Theres none left tbf Chelsea bought em allYes you're right but most are buying players.

I know mate. Now I've had more time to think about it I'd say that most clubs are acting in the transfer market exactly as they normally do. Remains to be seen if our normal strategy works. Those players will need time to settle and adjust. With games coming thick and fast, that could prove quite costly.
There is always room for arguments here. I'm just playing devil's advocate.

Apparently we are close to signing Doku (spl) Anderlecht young forward with the plan to loan him back for the season. Chris Wilder has said they are close to getting a striker on loan - Brewster?
