So what positions do we need to strengthen in then?

    Becker/Adrian
    TAA/Williams Gomez/Matip VVD/Lovren Robbo/Lewis
    Hendo/Fabinho
    AOC/Minamino Wijnaldum/Jones/Keita
    Salah Bobby Mane/Origi

Milner will stay but play even less I think, obvious transfer out is Shakira with Lallana also moving on. Wilson back and Gruijic back as younger back up.

Still think we need that one player that can come in and play in the front 3 but we're good in all positions. Wouldn't be surprised if Lovren moves on to get more playing time.

Not seen enough of Lewis, so not sure on Robertson cover.
Williams looks more than capable to help Trent out.
Centre back is fine when all fit.
Midfield still cries out for a creative influence imo.
And upfront, need top quality rotation options.

Premier League confirms major transfer window change
The Premier League has confirmed a major change to the summer transfer window from the 2020/21 season
Premier League clubs have voted to adopt to change back to the traditional transfer window dates from the 2020/21 season.

The change will move the closing date back to the end of August/early September, meaning the 2020 closing date will be at 17:00 BST on September 1st - as the 31st August is a bank holiday.

For the past two seasons, the window in England has closed the day before the start of the Premier League season - but this caused problems as it was not aligned with the rest of Europe.

When the change was made, it was hoped that the rest of Europe’s major leagues would follow suit but that did not happen - leaving a number of clubs in a difficult position, knowing their players were in demand but unable to replace them if a continental side swooped.
The announcement follows the confirmation that the new Premier League season will commence on Saturday August 8, meaning there will be three weekends of action before the transfer window closes.
Further dates for the 2020/21 season are yet to be confirmed but will be announced over the course of the coming months.

Yeah was just throwing the Lewis thing out there but imo we can't go spending on a position where we will hardly need the cover so Lewis will do.
I'd like a creative player in the middle yes but would worry a bit if for example we had AOC and Creative Player starting as our ability to bully is reduced and we play better as a whole without that creative player.

Larouci/LB, Brewster/CF. Someone said the other night with Brewster up top could have been the difference in goals being scored. He's doing fine with Swansea.

Yes we have others that could also work, Brewster playing and scoring at Swansea may make a difference, Larouci I'm not so sure on. We have so many good youngsters at the moment but they wont all make it at the top level. The only ones that I've seen that I think will make the grade is Jones, Elliot and Williams.

We also have to look at Chiravella, 22 and out of contract in the Summer but all of a sudden it has clicked and he looks a very good player. Do we offer a contract?

Yes to Chirivella. I'd add Hoever and Brewster to your picks. I'm sure there's another one who's impressed me but can't think of the name atm.

I like Hoever but think it'll be a couple of years before he's ready.

Lovren may well be off, so probably another experienced CB to come in as 4th choice like Klavan.

Hendo/Fabinho/AOC/Wijnaldum/Jones/Keita/Milner as midfield options, I see Minamino being in the front line more often than not. That's 7 players already, 8 if Gruijic remains part of the squad, 9 if (unlikely given) Pedro steps up in the Lallana spot although he'll probably move on. I don't see how we could buy another midfielder even if we lack creativity there. Our playstyle seems to be a tough, solid midfield anyway with creativity from the fullbacks.

I'd say another LB to give Robbo competition has to be a priority.

And finally a quality forward to come in and rotate unless Klopp is happy with the current four, Minamino and Brewster.

Could be a summer of buying a few more promising kids tbh

Good. He's the most average player at the club and his performance against Shrewsbury was diabolical considering he's a senior player (not the first time he couldn't be arsed cause it was a lower league club).

    I have nothing against Lovren
Like you though I thought his display smacked of could not be arsed
    Was not happy with that
I can forgive anything if they are trying

My view is serious front 3 contender & LB back up are fairly obvious ones though this always comes with the provisor that it appears we only sign first team players if Klopp is sold on them if not we make do .
Like others think Lovren will possibly/probably go so need back up unless Klopp thinks Hoever or Van Den Berg can make the step up which i would doubt this early
Though have to say thought against Shrewsbury VDB had his best game by a mile .

I'd put Pedro ahead of Grujic atm, can't see either staying though but for different reasons; Pedro will opt to leave for more first team football, Grujic isn't good enough and will be sold.

Not a chance. Both very atrocious but Lovren was definitely worse. And I've defended Lovren many many times!

Adam Lallana is set to leave Liverpool this summer with no discussions over a new contract having taken place.

The Reds have no plans to offer a short-term deal in order to stave off the possibility of a departure to a rival, writes @LynchStandard
