So the story is "Liverpool might have approached but the player wants to stay so you can't prove we are lying here"
That git cost us the title, should have seen red and scored Fecker, course he goes to utd Tbf he is a good player
Transfer market seems to be warming up... So far we have bought a ginger lad and been assured that Werner will sign. We are also buying Mbappe, Dembele (the Barca one), Pepe (the Lille one) and perhaps even Coutinho (the turncoat one) That’s not to mention being linked with just about every other footballer on the planet.
So the asset stripping begins. Ashley will end up doing a Sunderland owner to them then walk off with all the cash.
The Dembele thing is interesting, he would cost a lot but is a talented player and if Klopp can get him playing then it would be a good signing. Reality though is that Barca will want silly money and we're not paying it, Werner would still make more sense.
we wont do much until tour starts and klopp gets a look at wilson brewster etc. if they impress i reckon we wont do much sadly.
Klopp buys low and sells high. Unless he thinks £100m for Dembele is cheap, I doubt we’ll buy him. On this basis, I agree that Werner is a more realistic target from a price perspective.
I agree but would be a bit cheeky and throw in bids of around £60 - £70M, he's 22 and his value could easily double.
Bid for £70m from Utd for Maguire City have said they’ll match it Leicester want a world record £90m for him Has that sunk in yet? Meanwhile Arsenal attempt to hijack the deal by bidding £40m. #doinganarsenal
It’s not like Utd to hyper inflate the market Seriously though, there is f#ck all value in the market today with so many big teams splashing the cash and chasing the same players....and Utd will be the worse offenders; they’ll need to pay significantly more to compensate for a lack of CL football. We’re better off biding our time as we are....if value presents itself as everything unfolds, then great. If not, no problem.
