For me it’s the missing piece of our first 11 but whoever we sign has to have creativity, goals AND workrate and tactical nous. This player will control a game for us, much like KdB does for City.
i strongly suspect you wouldn't call it music. What music?
think he may be just over our upper age threshold for signings .I agree. xabi Alonso please

If only it was possible to "just" find another Xabioh just get a younger version then... let's not get hung up on who didn't say a young xabi here

He was such an elegant ,for want of a better word , passer that even his misplaced passes looked good.
So Tielermanns (sp?) clearly available this summer for about £40m. Bonus is that he and Fabinho have played together alot for Monaco.
Thoughts?
particularly as you can see a number of English clubs being interested in buying him.Even if we did make an approach, his fee would double!
Our first priority in the next transfer window has to be FB cover.
yep these are the 2 areas where we really have no real quality cover.Makes sense, outside of that I'd like someone to challenge our front 3. We've been lucky that they haven't had many injuries.
Alonso back to Bayern?
Xabi Alonso is being tipped to return to Bayern Munich as a coach in the future - by club president Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.
“He’s training as a coach in Spain, it seems he will coach the Under-19s team at Real Madrid next season,” Rummenigge commented.
“I think we have to make an effort to bring him back to Bayern at some point.
“He was a marvellous player, who speaks four languages and German fluently.
“I’d like him to return to Bayern one day, he’s a true gentleman.”
He was torn over who to support when we played Bayernno if we get there first ****ys
