Leipzig forward Timo Werner is said to have requested to be substituted during the club's first ever away Champions League fixture because of noisy Beskitas fans.

The 21-year-old Germany international could not handle the cacophony inside Beskitas' Vodafone Arena and was replaced after 32 minutes.

that was true but it was a particualr issue with an ear infection.

Some lad on twitter making out he's demanding the kop stay quiet is most likely a troll.

It happened ONCE. its never occurred again with the player

Klopp told Coutinho just before he joined Barca:

“Go somewhere else, to Barca, to Bayern or to Real, and you will be just another player. Here you can be something more.”

NUNO: ORIGI INTEREST JUST RUMOURS

Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo is remaining silent on the club's transfer activity, including rumours that the club are interested in Lierpool strike Divock Origi.

Actually, I was thinking about him during the Brighton game. Thinking how they were playing, Coutinho would have scored.

They were tight around the box, pretty compact, but they were giving up space in the zone just a little further out that Coutinho liked to score from.

We may not have, in general, have missed him as much as we feared, but I think he would have changed the game today if we had him, that close game would have been one-sided. Brighton couldn't have played that way.

I think we'd take him back at the right price but Barca will want too much for us to go for him.

depends how desperate they are too get rid, plus they still owe us some money for him don't they?

i can see the media suggesting stupid swap deals ie salah or bobby, but that will be a def no no as far as we are concerned. wont stop media though sadly lol.

Fabinho says PSG did the same thing before a match when he was at Monaco as well…

He told L’Equipe: “I never thought of going elsewhere.

“I know a lot of things were written in the newspapers, but it wasn’t true. What’s funny is that this PSG loan story came out just before our Champions League match [in November].

“And I had already experienced a similar story the day before the final of the Coupe de la Ligue between PSG and Monaco [in March 2018]. It’s a strange coincidence, isn’t it?”

He disappointed himself by putting in a transfer request. He can rust in Barcelona's reserve:emoticon-0133-wait:.

They've got the best part of £150m in him. Very few clubs can afford to pay anything close to that.....and given he's 'failed' at Barca, the list becomes even smaller. I cannot see Barca writing off £70m on him to make the list of suitors bigger....not yet anyway!

PSG are already sailing close to the FFP winds.....perhaps he'd be part of a swap deal...but who wants him now that his form is poor; he clearly does not have the consistency to command the price of a mega star. Barca are going to have to drop their pants to offload him.
