what you've described is a big brute who battered his way round but couldn't pick a pass for ****. sounds about right. to even mention xavi and modric in the same breath
The salient point was about stats being only part of the story. Not sure Xavi could pick that many passes. He just kept it simple 95% of the time
Camacho set to leave TalkSPORT state Rafael Camacho is set to leave Liverpool a mere days after his senior debut. The full-back started the Reds' FA Cup defeat at Wolves, but he is now set to join Sporting CP and return to his hometown of Lisbon. A deal has been agreed to see him join on loan until June 2020, when his Reds contract expires.
this another example of why bother playing the ****er if he wasn't bothered in the position he was asked to play cos he was off anyway. I believe however the ask is he sign a new deal but it could just as easily be a **** off move.. supposedly a contract is on offer.
reality check for spurs. contract runs out in 18months. you can play **** off.money now but if he doesn't sign a new deal and want a new challenge then you can't do **** with your 225mil tag.
How long before the first billion pound player? We've come a long way since Trevor Francis. A long way down a bad road.
Christian Eriksen is vital to Tottenham's ambition to progress Danish playmaker has only 18 months left on his contract https://www.skysports.com/football/...n-is-vital-to-tottenhams-ambition-to-progress
I'd agree with sky that he is vital but as i said with only 18 months to go they can shout all the like about 225mil... the reality is all they can do is block and block until they have to let him go ala alderweireld. if comeone offered 100mil tomorrow that'd test thier ambition. I Think the power for contract in these days of mad fees will come to the fore. coutinho downed tools last January but we got the value on him based on his 4.5year contract. I don't think eriksen would down tool but you never know these days but with only 18months left..... well it becomes hard to say no I don't think real are ebing serious with hazard and eriksen but I think it will all be sorted in summer not this window anyway
If Christian Eriksen refuse to sign a new contract, Tottenham would have no option other than to ell in the summer. I am not sure they are going get £225M for him.
