I've never got the "Spurs have thinnest squad" narrative as i think that they have the strongest cover in defence and good cover in MF ,would be very good if they had acted on the obvious Wanyamer , Dembele fitness issues in the summer window.
I don't see much between us Chelsea & Spurs in squad depth but we have an obvious weakness in defensive cover.

When Son leaves for the Asian cup they'll be lucky to hang on to top 4.

If Eriksen also gets injured or the move he wants they'll be lucky to not be relegated.

tbh spurs young lad Sanchez is just as dodgy as either but nobody seems to call him out as he's playing for spurs and "has potential"

TAA & Gomez have made mistakes and not been criticised (apart from on here, obviously) much because they've got potential.

As a RB he made a few last season. As a CB he's been very good....can't recall any mistakes tbh
