Last year:

played 44, scored 20, assists 9. Can city keepers kicked 1.

In any other year thats considered a great return by a wide forward.

played 54 scored 27 assists 17

or salah did this
played 52 scored 44 assists 16


Mane is often the "deepest" of the forwards playing almost left midfield in the defensive shape and so while firmino drops off its salah who gets to run in behind and score.

its all part of a wider whole so winning game sis the most important thing. He was the guy who stood up to be counted in the CL final while someone else crumbled.

So it turns out United didn’t want Mina, didn’t want Godin as didn’t see it as viable, didn’t want alderweirald as he’s better in a 3, didn’t want boateng because of his injury record and they been burnt by Munich in past with Hargreaves and scheeinstiger.

Were prepared red to pay 100m for Varanr but Madrid didn’t want to sell and we’re interested in maguire.

So nothing to do with fact these players didn’t want to join United, they were just never actually interested.... apparently.
