Yes, I get it. I get more frustrated with the long contracts and big money paid out to players like Sturridge who have contributed very little - not his fault like but it holds us back.

Don’t mind loaning Origi out. Especially to prem club.
May help take points off rivals. Gets him used to playing in prem more so next year can either sell him worth more experience or if he does well then maybe a place back in the squad as he looks like he should fit in well across that front three.

TBH the 20mil rumours didn't sound plausible.

if you add all these together.... the list of clubs still interested must be quite low. Its very low risk throwing 55k per week at someone and make 2 mil to LFC to get a striker to look at for year.
To be saddled for 5 years with him and pay agents fees and signing on fee is a whole other kettle of fish.
If he got watford 10 goals and keeps them going in prem that loan is a great deal.

we will see come end of the transfer window for these guys.
I quite fancy there will be at least one guy who is shovelled out on loan.
The issue is finding a buyer at LFC price not just finding ayone who will pay these guys wages.
That 5 year deal to mingolet might end up getting us a bit of cash but its also meant shifting him is VERY hard due to wage
