I wouldn't, lads like a tank, it would be like having Ruddock back. We need defenders who are quick across the floor as well as being powerful. Maguire is to ponderous for us.
If there is any truth in this then Klopp has serious concerns about Matip and his injuries and Kavan as back up or even Gomez to step in. Will be inyerestsing to see what happens
i am not even bothered by this stupid link at this point. its so facile that it can be shot through 7 was til tuesday. 1. klopp said we were not interested. 2. james pearce has reported it form us tour that no cb is coming 3. nobody buys a 22mil player and gives them a 2 year deal. Its so stupid its not actually worth talking about. Yez are lucky this isn't rawk or some mod would delete all threads and comments discussing it.
why would we be lucky this isnt rawk? if its bollocks as you are confirming yourself, whats to discuss?
I'm just saying rawk is awful for mods closing stuff, deleting stuff and generally telling people what to think and to read. As in... just cos i'm getting narky about this link don't confuse that with me telling anyone what to do
if this was RAWK half the board would have been banned by now. thankfully this place is more UK than Iran (RAWK)
so any other clubs forum (ie their own clubs forum!!) is not the same then? i have never been on red cafe, have no ****ing reason to!!! but i know utd supporters who believe half the **** that gets posted on there and they are just as bad i have been told.
honestly never been on redcafe. been on a chelsea to read recently and i don't think it's policed as heavy (there are both for and against arguments against conte and bakayoko obviously get a lot of abuse). everytime i've read RAWK if there is any slight criticism of the club/players it's immediately shut down. MITO would have been strung up and quartered after his 2nd whinge
I've looked on rawk several times having been pointed in it's direction and honestly, the particular threads I've seen have been very good. I've seen in-fighting, disagreements and fans who support other teams on there and the thread wasn't shut down or any warnings given. A lot of what people say about it is sort of urban myth - it's reputation goes before it and isn't completely accurate. Anyone can go to any fan forum and post a link to a ridiculous thread to try and prove a point but in reality what I've seen of rawk seems okay to me.
Borussia Dortmund would apparently require a fee in the region of £60m for Christian Pulisic this summer. With the Nabil Fekir deal looking to be increasingly unlikely, would you like to see one final big money move from Jurgen Klopp this summer for the American starlet? Let me know @SamCarroll0!
Thursday, July 26 Virgil van Dijk wants fifth signing Virgil van Dijk has asked Liverpool to complete another signing. That’s according to Daily Record journalist Ian McGarry, who claims Van Dijk wants a new centre-half partner at Anfield. The Reds' recruitment over the summer has had everyone talking with £174million spent on midfielders Naby Keita and Fabinho, winger Xherdan Shaqiri and perhaps most crucially Brazil goalkeeper Alisson. But McGarry claims Van Dijk wants to further bolster Liverpool’s defensive ranks with a new centre-back. “I am told by people close to Van Dijk that he has requested a new central defensive partner through Jurgen Klopp,” McGarry told the Transfer Window podcast. “He wants the defence to be up to standard as it possibly can be.”
Well that's a confidence booster for Lovren if we don't get anyone Assuming it's true. Why would anyone who knows vvd speak to a Scottish newspaper ffs
hursday, July 26 10.45am: Liverpool will not sign Nabil Fekir this summer because they can’t take the risk of a long-term injury to the France star. The Reds came close to bringing in the Lyon forward before the World Cup only for a problem to surface in the medical. And Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce has explained Liverpool won’t be resurrecting a move for Fekir. He said: “Yes, Lyon are crying out for a buyer. It suits them for Liverpool to be repeatedly linked with Fekir. “For all the talk of potentially restructuring the £53m deal that collapsed last month, I can’t see Liverpool going back in for him. “Their concerns over his knee were too great. It’s a shame because he would have been an exciting addition.”
