for me if the lad can't secure a first team slot over the next month he should look to move permanently. my strong view is to say **** off to Gerrard and look for best championship club he can get with a view to being a prem player that way.
With us getting Keita and Fabinho all sorted and the Fexir nonsense early doors it would make sense to assume that any other targets are now at the WC.
maybe. If those 3 were the main targets to go get then I would have to assume that there is not a striker coming and if you are right about world cup it might also be the case that bargain hunting could be in play too. it's a short window to 9th August... we might be trying to buy late on. If fekir was option to directly replace coutinho as forward and midfield option then karius ward mingolet taa gomez clyne Robertson Moreno Matip lovren vvd klavan fabinho Henderson kieta windy ox lallana Milner mane fekir salah Wilson firmino origi that's a full squad there... theres clearly an issue in my mind at no 9 with origi and an assumption wilson will even get a game that squad won't win a league. will it stay 4th? who knows. arsenal and Chelsea work is still not clear. our midfield should be good and for the first team it's strong enough but we can only rest a couple players at a time and hope no injuries.
How Danny Ings' Liverpool exit could prompt striker rethink for Jurgen Klopp https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/how-danny-ings-liverpool-exit-14857789
Liverpool transfer news: Reds and Everton launch bid for Dejan Lovren's World Cup partner LIVERPOOL have launched a bid for Dejan Lovren's Croatian defensive partner Domagoj Vida, according to reports.
solanke and Woodburn imo.might get loaned. I think both need it personally. personally I'd sell.origi and ings and sturridge but we will see.
I think you will get at least 2nd/3rd. Winning the league is doable but you are missing another viable CF. Is Origi good enough? You've significantly improved your midfield which will help you maintain consistency throughout the season, but it depends on how quickly they acclimatise to the PL, i'm sure Klopp will gradually introduce them.
We won’t win the league with any of those keepers. Just saying. Defence will be left alone this year Midfield is sorted (unless we sell to buy imo) Forward line needs strengthening and dross let go - not an easy job to get rid of injury prone/over rated players in good money!
TBH.... who really knwos what will happen yet. City have guardiola but they were not at the same high level for the second half of season so they might come back to the pack with a 90 point season who knows. Utd will be strong but dull. Certain things might work against them like lukaku being tired or whatever. but again who knows. They need CB and keep de gea. they want willian and for me that would improve them in the areas mourinho like (tracking back lol) Spurs are still strong and they only seem to shop last minute for the bargains. They will keep everyone as far as i know bar alderweireld so they have to be strong next year. Arsenal I don't know. its totally unknown quanitity for new manager. they were great at emirates and lousy away so he has huge scope to improve. Cheslea are dead men walking right now til manager gets sorted. then anything could happen. We should have midfield resources and really our main issue is lovren and karius being accidents waiting to happen. Origi is not good enough and we all know it really. we will be trusting to luck upfront until we get proper competition in.
1. agree 2. probably 3. maybe. 4. agree. its a clean up job, not easy at all. Fekir can't do it all if he was the target up top.
I agree we don't really know for certain, that's what makes the PL so good nowadays. But from what we know Liverpool finished strong last season, playing some very good football. They do need strengthening which they've done to some degree with those two midfielders, but you do need another striker and a keeper.
