TBH I agree with the sentiment and with the reality of the situation.
We are never able to pay 158mil for a player having already spent 100mill on two midfielders. we would be squarely in the **** on FFP.
they don't want to lose asensio period, I reckon he wants a new contract and his agent is doing this.
I would much prefer if we have that punt on fekir and build the stand than spend the same money on one player.

Danny Ings has decided to look for a move from Liverpool. Tough decision, but wants to play regularly. Lots of clubs will be interested. Liverpool would be happy for him to stay. @TimesSport

Ings opportunity with us has been and gone due to his injuries. Sturridge in the Suarez days was the best of him, he has little to offer us now. Both can go to other clubs and play maybe 10 games a season as that's all either of them have in them now I think.
