I have seen that couch.... you were clearly on the companion series couch .... did you get surprise insemination, surprise anal or.....the only one that ever got the job?
Lallana's been injured for an age, how can he possibly feel like he's been pushed out Where have you seen this suggestion? I agree it's not looking good for him but that's from a outsiders perspective, Adam should believe he is good enough and be willing to fight. If not, **** him, that attitude deserves to be sold! Clyne may not be rated but he's the only recognised traditional RB we have. TAA is a CM, Gomez is a CB, Fabinho is reportedly a DM, Milner is a Jack of all trades. He's not going anywhere imo, certainly not without someone else arriving. I don't think either are good enough any more but don't think either will leave because we want a squad. Lallana or one of many CMs but I think he'll stay because he can play in the front three too.
No, he'll continue at RB with Clyne as understudy. Learn to read mate, I said Clyne is our only traditional RB, not our only RB
Just going off what you are saying, TAA is apparently a CM but is being forced to play RB because your manager keeps buying CMs but failing to get a RB to free him up
I'll just repeat it. "Not been in the news like, just chatter from those who usually get things right information wise" Take it or eave it: Clyne is up for sale and has been for over a year, but no one's biting ('cos he's ****). Lallana wants regular first team football which he won't get as much of here. Oh I don't know, Ox signed last summer, Keita coming this summer, Fekir probably on his way...all younger, all big money buys, all play in a more advanced midfield position that he'd be looking to play in. Doesn't smack of, "Cool Adam, you're still my go-to first XI player" does it? I know it's a squad game, but he's every right to feel like he's being pushed out the team to a squad role. And Clyne may be the only recognised RB in the squad, but Klopp still wanted him gone last summer. That speaks volumes about his importance as a squad player. Zip. If someone bids for him, he's off.
I think TAA is the number one RB option, ahead of Clyne. And I would keep him there and let him develop into a top class RB. Clyne as back up works fine, and fabinho can also play there. Lallana is an interesting one - if Fekir finally signs for us, then I struggle to see where Lallana fits into the first and second XI. Assuming we play 433 again, Lallana predominately player as the attacking CM in the midfield three. That position is most likely to Fekir’s with Ox as the back up/rotational option. And Lallana cannot play the B2B as Keita and Gini are the best options there. And you can forget about him in the front 3. He’s awful there. So selling him maybe a viable option without hurting the squad depth.
Lot of conflicting reports. James Pearce and French journos said he passed the medical. Joyce and other U.K. journos said it’s shown complications but have no comment from the club. The French transfer window opens today so maybe Lyon were holding off until then. Who knows?
If this is the case then we've dodged a bullet. Last thing we want is an injured 50mil player. He missed a season due to his knee and also missed a few weeks this season with his knee. Perhaps we're not happy with his recovery and think it might bust again.
btw the "debate" above is just silly from.deigo. he might as well have said Carragher was a striker in youths and was forced into defence by nasty lfc managers buying strikers. ridiculous.
Just to add to that - the club have already done an interview with Fekir for LFCTV (I think Andy Hunter confirmed). It would seem strange to do all that before getting the second opinion on his knee and giving the all clear.
This from the Echo - Concerns over the playmaker's fitness have been cited, but the ECHO understands that while a second opinion was sought on a knee issue, those fears were eased, meaning the path was cleared for the midfielder to potentially become the club's second most-expensive signing after Virgil van Dijk. The deal had become so advanced that Fekir had undergone media duties in a Liverpoolstrip, with pictures of his imminent announcement seemingly being leaked on social media.
