He should have gone to someone like Everton. Giroud is a very good striker, but don't see him improving his playtime at chavs

No chance, Moshiri is slashing Everton's wage bill knowing there's nothing to achieve this season, can't get players out fast enough

I do find it interesting that Arsenal have managed to sign two of the top strikers in Europe within 6 months, despite not having Champions League and looking likely to not have Champions League next season and generally on a bit of a downer as a club.

Money talks? And the pull of the Premier League?

Lacazette has been pushing for a move for a few years. Had it not been for Atletico's transfer ban, he'd have gone there. He chose Arsenal but there weren't many suitors, were they? (could be wrong)

With Auba, all the top teams have strikers and may be concerned with his attitude and the fee Dortmund wanted was quite high for a 29-year-old.

London is a big factor but you have to consider the teams they were at before. Auba clearly just wanted out of Dortmund and was willing to sign with whichever team met the club's fee.

Arsenal have established themselves as a stepping stone to Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Everton...

Unless you want to play for Spurs then you're fine

Yep - it shows that if you’re aggressive enough, you can get good players without CL. We simply aren’t and aren’t willing to offer silly money (righty or wrongly).
