not really. It's just the cost of a sturridge and a milner . Seriously though, he's approximately 3 prem players (at the big clubs) and in nowadays when theirs loads of deadwood, if he's decent it'll be worth it
I will be surprised if Ox proves to be creative when teams sit deep (although he is good for driving past people but i think that's when theres space to open up). Not sure about his set pieces but surely you should be putting salah on those (he's been on some this year). think you guys are better off getting Keita early for the 20m.
As well. Keita is more like a box to box player with the long, bursting runs forward past players and the ability to play some through balls, a bit of an allrounder - but not the same creativity for unlocking a team when things are tight and compact as Coutinho had. Need a bit more finesse and guile in there. Names wise - Nabil Fekir as the creative player for now if possible, Timo Werner as the flexible forward, Timo Horn as a keeper (take your pick really, lots of good German keepers!) aside from the obvious of Oblak or Allison, Ginter as a RB and go all out for Fabinho as DM. He is, but not in the same vein. I rate him and Lallana, but they'll never be true creators from deep midfield
Not great though. Although admittedly, he's not had a VVD to aim at but then, neither as AOC bar one game. PS... I have missed a lot of our games this season because I've been working on the house.
City pull out of the race to sign Sanchez - apparently wages he'd want would put him way ahead of all their other star players. Looks like coast is clear for United to give him £350k a week
I can't believe no foreign teams are after him given they can agree a contract now for free. Bayern need to replace Robben & Ribery. Juve (or any Italian team) are always up for a freebie signing. Even Madrid could do with him although his Barca connection may prevent that one.
City knew they'd be shooting themselves in the foot if they tried to match the wages. Ironic that United and Mourinho complain about City being the money club then they're the team throwing money at a player they're both competing for.
Actually think they need him most out of all those mentioned. Other than hazard and Morata no one in that team can score goals
