As opposed to the aforementioned Under The Bridgers in Garston - they don't have brothers and sisters, mums and dads, they just have male and female relatives.![]()
When I lived in Liverpool used to have to catch the Garston bus to get to Hockey, thank God I never had to go that far.Gotta be honest, Garston was as rough as a bears arse back in the day, ain't been near the place in years so it might be smart, sophisticated and metropolitan these days..
My late Scouse Uncles adopted daughter is Chinese...well, half....
He and Aunt were posted to Hongkong and adopted from a Chinese girl who got in trouble with another squaddie (not connected in any way lol... just told she wouldn't be accepted there because of circumstances) when uncle brought her back to his Mum in Liverpool she laughed and said well son your dad's mum was Chinese so it'll work grand lol.....he didn't know until then!

Is it still rough in places? I know that sounds daft and you tend to downplay your own rough areas because you know them and can be in them. Only until someone else looks and you go...**** aye...i suppose it is a bit rough lol
Garston was never that bad, spent a decent amount of my misspent youth in the snooker club there.Gotta be honest, Garston was as rough as a bears arse back in the day, ain't been near the place in years so it might be smart, sophisticated and metropolitan these days..

Believe it or not I did venture outside like...I'm talking about outside the snooker club though.
But it was a fearsome place to go back in the 70's(gang fighting era), all dark and olde worlde.

I'm talking about the 80's and it was sound, a complete cakewalk compared to places like Huyton for example
