I don't think losing Coutinho is the end of the world. Sure, I'd rather keep him, but I think he is a little over hyped to be honest. He can certainly pull off some spectacular moves and is one of our best players, but I really think the £140mill+ is overvaluing him and that could be reinvested wisely in other players.

That's irrelevant in this window. Important thing is to screw every last peso we can out of Barca, even if that does effectively end up in Soton's hands when they sell a preposterously overpriced VVD.
 
I hope some of you lot pause and post a best of luck to the... he is now on the sauce until he gets his hip hacked off... he might get to read them or not but i duppose we ought to have bloody done it earlier

Of course we want every penny we can get, but, I really think we can improve the squad more with that money than the pain of losing him will cause...

Too late this window though unless we have someone lined up.

<laugh>. I looked all over for a "Go Cocks" (local team) postcard to mail to him last week as a get well card, of course can never find one when I'm looking. All over the place when not. Too late.now though.

No 'pain' in losing Corporal Klinger and his feigned medical conditions now, just a reasonable desire to **** Barca and his turd-headed agent as much as we possibly can.
 
So....

Deadline day review.

Overall squad is not weakened par se. But the out have not been what we a tually wanted yet, a couple kids and origi ****ed off on loan.

No more signings after oxo. It's clear time is up for lemar. That's done as it's now match time for the lad. Vvd was never happening.

So right now off have the same gaps we has 2 weeks ago when everyone was upset. Some level of intent was shown by the club to buy ever more attacking options.

Tomorrow I will update the summer window change thread with all deals and see if anyone wants to comment
