One of my best memories of my dad was sitting on the sofa with him after that FA cup final. I was crying my eyes out at losing and he just sat there holding me for ever while I got over it. He never said a word, just held me till I stopped. He was a Newcastle fan from Nth Wales. Never got to see his favourite player Jacky Milburn play in the flesh.
