Because PSG paid for Neymar in form of Promissory note?.

Which is a form of cash (indeed all money is really a promissory note). Ironically, Barca insisted on it....

Sauce and goose anyone?

Imagine if PSG had said 'Okay, we'll meet that clause - we'll give you £150m over five years, and £50m in add-ons including Neymar breaking the sound barrier on a bicycle and finding Flight MH370'.

This thing about them 'retracting' the offer that has been rejected is for one thing only, to further unsettle the player.

I really hope now that we don't sell. I still think we will though.

This is intriguing:

The reporter claims to be in the know, then says an offer of £104m will do the trick - when one of £10m more than that has been rebuffed. And, apparently, Ford saw his arse when we rejected the second £90m bid out of hand because he knows, apparently, that we are negotiating with Barca. If that is the case, why would he put in a TR and forego his cut of the transfer if he knew Liverpool were negotiating despite their public stance? Wut?

I found Klopps interview quite interesting when asked about Coutinho, "it is out of my hands, I can only coach the players available to me, it's a club decision not mine".
Have the club put him on garden leave or is he injured

Who knows what the score with him really is. Let's see what happens after Wednesday. I reckon there's going to be quite a few twists and turns.

I think we all know the score

So you reckon the club want the money then and have told Klopp he is not available to him in case he gets injured?

The lads heads not right, don't know about his back, but if he was withdrawn from the first two games for reasons other than injury FSG must have read Fergie's book on how he withdrew Giggs from Wales international games with non existent injuries.
