From what I heard/read, The Stoke lad case is very serious because it involves fraud.

Jimmy, you're only like 1 month late on this VVD prediction. Is it happening anytime soon? Reckon you'll have won the league by the time this happens.

Ditto with Keita XD.

And so it it should be if:

a) This is being done over Jurgen's head.

b) They're accepting anything other than £130m cash (no ****ing swapsies or staggered payments).

Got nothing against Ford even now (though he has shafted us by changing his ****ing mind mid-July when it's practically impossible to replace him), but the beef is with Barca. They'll be back again year after year if we don't make a stand now. besides which, we don't need the money (unless it's to re-develop the ground). NOTHING has changed since this time last week =- but that unfortunately includes having a spineless ownership.

It's because he's now for sale for 70-80 mil and wants out.

Ralf wouldn't have said what he did if this isn't the case.

But you can see why from their moneyball perspective. Bought £10M (approx). Sold £120M (approx). It vindicates their whole approach.

It would if they were punters at a racetrack in Boston, but playing moneyball with an iconic football institution in England is a no no with the supporters.
