Good statement from FSG - they did the right thing. It's to put an end to the Coutinho saga this summer. But we should expect it next summer ...

You have to assume he really wants to go there, so hopefully he'll play out of his skin to get the move.
It remains to be seen whether Barca are still the big attraction by the end of this season - now they're a selling club an' all. <whistle>

Yeah, and it gives us ample time to find an adequate replacement. Who knows, depending on what happens this season he may choose to stay :emoticon-0107-sweat

yeah... i mean we are all big boys round here who know he won't be at lfc at 27/28... never mind 30.

he will be off if LFC can't break the top tier.
 
AHHHHHH I see what LFc have done

Klopp's press conference is on at 11am... you can watch live on LFC website for free btw.

The statement cuts off all the press hacks questions so klopp doesn't have to deal with them.

Anyone getting a bad start IMO will be out of it very quickly.

You cannot afford a period like we had last January either... and i'm talking for 4th not even 1st.

It will be interesting to see if any lower sides like leicester will be anything but cannon fodder to the top 6/7 this year.

Last year it was a record points haul for 4th so that shows the rest were nowhere.
 
I don't think we can assume that the saga is over.

Barca can still come back with a bigger offer and Couts can still hand in a request.

Fingers crossed though.
