The VVD transfer always seemed less likely after Lovrens new contract as i struggle to believe that our hierarchy believe £100k p.w. for 3rd choice CB sustainable.
i also just see the obvious move for VVD being ManC considering his "footballing" skills & love of going forward with ,for ManC, the added bonus of being a good defender.
Wonder what state physically he is in after the lay off & when he will be fully fit.

if we are only giving vvd 130k so he signs for city on 180k then you are right.

I think he's already gone to city and its just a question of when his medical will be and when he can start preseason
 
On Salah i was quite keen when we were in for him before & thought he did ok at Chelsea considering his (lack of) opportunities.
wouldn't like to put a price on him as still waiting to see the new perceived value of players in this window.

Its different that's for sure. Why didn't the 3 green lines carry on up the shirt insead of just stopping when gets to the collar. Looks silly.
 
Have faith - VVD is almost done...

Will Salah helped us against deep defences? Yes he will help stretch the play, both he and mane will have joy down the flanks.

But what we really need is creativity from deep - if we continue with Coutinho in CM plus someone like Keita as B2B, then that will go a long way imo.

But then again, we need more from our full backs as well.
