I reckon I'd take Defoe tbh. Good player to bring off the bench of we need a goal. Means Studge can ****off without need for concern too

Ramadan Sobhi
Liverpool are reportedly considering swooping for Stoke winger Ramadan Sobhi.

The Egyptian star could be snapped up by Jurgen Klopp if the deal for Bayer Leverkusen's Julian Brandt does not go through this summer.

Bleacher Report claim that members of the backroom staff are touting the idea of bringing him the highly-rated youngster.

Sobhi, 20, has played a bit-part role in the Stoke team this season, making just 17 appearances in total.

But his potential is already being realised on an international level, as he starred for Egypt at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Roberto Firmino
Liverpool star Roberto Firmino has landed a staggering £1.1million in bonuses alone this season, it has been revealed, writes Mirror Football's James Whaling.

The Brazilian earns a basic wage of £68,085 a week at Anfield, but that figure is swelled every time he either scores or provides a goal, according to Football Leaks: The Dirty Business of Football.

Firmino has scored 12 times so far this season, with each of his first five strikes netting him £25,000.

Goals 6-10 land him £45,000 and 16-20 £65,000.

Firmino has created more chances than any other Liverpool player this term having laid on 73 opportunities for his teammates.

And six of those have been converted, earning him £190,000, which works out at over £31,000 per assist.

How is Firmino's £1.1m in bonuses "staggering"?

Is it per week, like half of Man Utd's squad?

.
Is it because he's ****. Can't get into the Stoke team so he must be amazing

Wasn't it because of the ACON that Stoke bought him? International tournaments are no judge of anything, Real spent £75m on Rodriguez on the back of one World Cup and it now looks like they'll sell this summer failing to make an impact.

If this is a 'committee' buy, as reported, then it should be the final nail in its coffin, lots of misses and barely any hits.

I dunno... i think theres a lot of agents shouting and i'm largely ignoring now. a guy like that i'd not be shocked if he's not linked to 10 prem clubs before the summer is even here.

A lot money for rodriguez but lets face it he was unlikely to ever get into that team as hes a player like coutinho or firmino never a striker. He was never ever going to start ahead of Ronaldo or bale and even then hes not actually done that bad. Same goes for isco who can never get a game

His record is not shabby... its not amazjng in pure goals etc but he has played about 20/25 league games a season there and gotten goals.
