Ancelotti allegedly turned down the job because he felt the club needed to buy a new spine and board didn't agree.

Klopp has sorted the attack but he needs to fix the defence and midfield now.

good for anchelotti.

the "board" means certian pople who think they know it all. this extends back to purslow and beyond where guys think they know better than actual footbal managers

Benetiz has won it all.... but anchelotti... he's won EVERYTHING multiple times. If someone like that tells you something yuo listen.. but no christian purslow bought joe cole... and no doubt ian ayre thinks he knows it all

I HOPE this guy peter moore knows to shut his mouth and leaving playing staff to klopp... but of course its moneyball and edwards has henry's ear so we are ****ed

I think our owners need to raise their standards tbh.

in the olden days LFC had high standards built upon men training players to be top players but trusting senior players to stand up and be counted and keep standards up.

In the olden days senior players would do that.. these days.. they do not. they get managers sacked if they feel like a move etc.

In the olden days LFc have men who knew the standard and demanded it every day. They did not have owners who made do (cos it didn't cost much in the olden days) but since david moores actually took over we have made do and continue to do so

God only ****ing knows what LFC will do long term but I just don't feel we've got it right off the park compared to say spurs. Spurs have built over 10 years to where they are and like or hate levy no player got away with anything there and they made mistakes but learned from them.

LFC seem to not learn and repeat mistakes and don't seem to want to push the envelope.. I hope this summer we hear that the satdium will go to 61k by 2019 (new anfield road end plans in the offing) we have a new mega training facility for 50mil built and kids finally can learn form pros.

but most of all I want klopp stillin charge by then and a genuine team built for him.

IMO on squad:

GK. klopp won't buy here except maybe get shut of ward and bring in another 3rd keeper cheap.
RB: sorry jimmy this is sorted well enough IMO
RCB: Matip ankle is a worry. Gomez is hmmm.. lovren is cover here. sorted.
LCB: major issue IMO. we won't get VVD so dunn owhat we will do
LB: gaping sore
no 6... henderson not the answer need a player here
CMs. lallana, wijnaldum... need more. if can goes its two. IMO i;d buy two anyway
LW: couts, need another
St: bad bad bad. Origi keep rest go. Need one
RW: mane. Firmino?

So... I would buy LB, no 6 CM, box to box CM, LW and ST.. thats 5 players. we prob could do with 2 more even.

dreamlanders might say... Brandt, Keita and VVD... pulsic.. but i see no LB there. Sessegnon is a 16 year old

Its a big effort to get this squad up to speed. I don't think keita is necessarally a no 6 here either... he is more likely box to box.

IMO if we had henderosn lovren and matip all fit for full season we'd still let in loads of goals.. Im not sure having two good CBs and a door wide open to run at them is ideal

And any striker who stays fit and can run would be ideal. so if finally lacazette moves fine i really can't look at firmino and the rest any longer.

Yep, they have really pulled Leverkusen out of the mire <ok>

You were one of the people that like to bring up klopps poor last season so I'll bring up the fact that Mkhi was a part of that team that was battling relegation.

But you still signed him and he's a decent player?

Now jog on, ****puffin <ok>

Sky Italia: [HASHTAG]#FCBayern[/HASHTAG], Man City, Liverpool & Juventus are all interested in Milan full-back Mattia De Sciglio. [HASHTAG]#MCFC[/HASHTAG] [HASHTAG]#LFC[/HASHTAG]
