Ha was being prudent! Either way, I think we should be getting min £50m from player sales. Sturridge will be a massive shame but it's understandable. Interestingly, Henderson has missed more matches than Sturridge since the start of last season ...
Sturridges full record on his career is horrendous and frankly his one good season is actually out of keeping with his career.
Not sure where you get that stat from or how that applies but Henderson has way more minutes this season and last season that sturridge (i know klopp doesn't like starting sturridge half the time) but that is very surprising. As for getting 30m for Sahko, if Palace who are looking great with him was being run under pardew i think that might have been a goer. I'm not sure big sam would spend a large chunk of his transfer budget just like that on sahko who is 27. He's more of a wheeler dealer and likes to find bargains in my opinion. There might be a mug who will pay that seeing all the "top" up and coming defenders are being quoted for 30+ but i find it hard to see. I reckon 20m is more in the price range.
i know transfers fees have gone mad but £16m for Markovich what you been smoking. You might want to go & ask the Hull fans their views on him. Having said that we supposedly got £15m for Ibe and even more incredibly £6m for Brad Smith (if we did the SFO should investigate immediately) which i still doubt.
Will try and dig out the article. Yes Hendo has played more minutes but he's also missed a lot of games through injury which is the metric of focus. Plus now he has the new injury and I think it's concerning. Sakho - the market is inflated so I wouldn't be surprised if someone does pay £30m. Not sure if Sam will spend that much but the player has made an immense thus far.
£15m is pretty standard for a talented young British player. Shame he hasn't kicked on. Brad Smith for £6m was just brain dead. For once, we didn't get ripped off!
well my views on the Fail mean i assume everything in it has at best only a passing resemblance to truth & accuracy
I agree for a talented young british player that's what clubs will pay. It's dumb money though for someone who barely made a breakthrough into the first team when you guys were struggling for players and one that hadn't proved anything at all
Sounds to me like Klopp was slagging him if all he said about the highest scoring striker was he's "very good" #faintpraise #doingalukaku
Lukaku just isn't the type of striker we are looking for..........end of. He was getting a huge amount of stick from his team mates last night for his lack of movement and general workrate
Its only manners to compliment an opponents star player whilst tearing strips off thier lying toerag manager
