None of us really know the ins and outs, if the relationship is totally broken or not. If klopp ia is willing to give a 2nd chance then great, keep him and hopefully can form good partnership with Matip. If klopp wants rid then then we need to move him on. Juat got to trust klopp on bribing the right guy in to strengthen and so far his signings have been good and improved the team.
I don't think so either mate. I don't think he'll be back because Klopp won't see the required change but if Klopp thinks he's grown up fair enough.
I'd trust Klopp's judgement on it. I don't have the same problem with Sakho being sacked off as some appear to because Klopp will have his reasons for it and will see it as in the best interests of the club. Similarly, if he changes his mind then I'm fine with that. It's his call.
Sakho was fine on the pitch. His only fault was that he regularly jumped forward from the defensive line to win the ball early. With a smarter, more vocal player along side him (Matip rather than Lovren or Skrtel) I'm sure that won't be an issue so much. He was one of the few players who had some passion and balls last year - I value that highly in a player. If Klopp wants to give him another go, he'd get my full backing as he could still be a top player. If Klopp wants to sell, I'd be disappointed, but trust Klopp on that. Not convinced by Virgil if I'm honest. It's still basically one good season he's had and we've had our pockets stung plenty of times from signings like that. Reported 50mill is a huge amount for a CB based on a season! I'd just be very wary about it.
I agree with you on Sakho to some extent - he's a player who did rise to he occasion and took responsibility. Too many choir boys in our team at the moment. VVD is a very good defender though. Would have him in a heartbeat.
£20m plus Sakho would effectively make VD a £40m pound player. I think £10m is a more realistic price
Could depend on 1. Does VVD want out 2. Does VVD want to play for a London based club 3. Can VVD do a good scouse accent
Liverpool hopeful Dejan Lovren will extend stay at Anfield after re-opening contract talks, writes @AHunterGuardian
I think that's what mito was getting at. Anyway, his wife really does get a say in all his career moves
You have to accept that you will not get a star in every position, yes buy a CB and maybe Klavan drops down the order so imagine Matip, VVD and Lovren? Not bad is it? Injuries will happen and we at least then have good cover.
