from what I saw of them playing v Chelsea they are not too shabby with this new manager. I can't see the lad getting a game. I am willing to be that he is not even fit enough to get a game there..... maybe this guy knows him but according to his record as a player and manager he's had precious little to do with benfica where we bought the lazy arsed guy. I dunno.
If they sell Snodgrass, they deserve to be relegated! They'll only get around £8m but he's their main chance of staying up. Staying up is worth £60m+
yeah..... you are right they were talking at one point in the chav game about selling two players. livermore has gone to westbrom for 10mil. thats nowt these days. If they sell up snodgrass as well it really signals the owners are sure they are going down and are cashing in and think the parachute payments are more fun coming. One this for 100% snodgrass is just not going to be replaced by markovic in the sort or medium term. again could they not do a deal and say hey.... come back this summer and we will deal... but they have not and livermore is now at west bro mwho don't need him this year.
like who not sissoko and wijnaludum surely.. awful this year they basically never covered off the defensive disaster they were and reliance on an ageing collocinni who didn't care. they also had no striker of any note last year but this year while he is a real champ player they have gayle whos got 20 goals in 22 gamea and hes never done anything like that before. (bar non league)
it is weird but they are idiots. the new manager does seem to be having an effect but need more quality in the squad plus get some luck - well some luck that isn't bad
he does seems to have had a go at playing football. they genuinely passed it about and cheslea didn't exactly let them so it was impressive.
yeah someone had dig at them on our PL & other games thread (or whatever its called ) and i posted that i thought they played pretty well .When you look at it they could easily have got a draw
more to the point win the next 3 2-0 1-0 1-0 and all is well in the world well apart from the thin squad & Jimmy gnashing his teeth cos Lovren is still here
Liverpool representatives are reportedly in Portugal to wrap up a deal for Sporting Lisbon's William Carvalho. The highly-rated midfielder, 23, has been linked with Arsenal a number of times in recent years but it is now Liverpool who appear favourites to land the Euro 2016 winner. Portuguese outlet A Bola say Sporting want £25million for Carvalho, who is contracted to the club until 2020. sauce? This could well be this guys agent getting his name out there again. He's been linked every window to england for 5 years frankly at this point 25mil is a bargain for him. he will turn 25 this year. The fee however for a player who is at the same club who just ****ed markoivc out the door suggests to me its a kite flying exercise. It seems a bit low.
