Either we have a couple of decent players lined up on the quiet or Klopp has big cahoonas and will have confidence in his current squad. I respect the latter and fear it in equal measures <yikes>
Klopp seems to be an old-school manager in this respect.
The old gits amongst us can remember a time when it was always this way. You didn't just throw huge amounts of money at every big-name player you could find and hope they happened to click, a manager moulded his side to make an efficient team. Where there were weak areas, he would improve them steadily, but not with panic buys.
This worries fans now so used to the frantic merry-go-round every six months that they panic if we haven't brought in a worldie every window, but perhaps it isn't necessary.
Of course, many managers of lower placed teams still have to work this way out of necessity, but can it work at the top?
We'll have to wait and see, but I don't see him changing his philosophy any time soon.

stability works but equally if the improvement gotten is less than what you would have got by bringing new talent in theres a problem

LFC at this point have a young squad so its not like age is an issue

its really about squad size going forward, the right balance and talent. and we've seen we've max 13 players that are up to it.

Shush - I'm trying to cheer up all the miserable ****ers on here who think our footballing world's about to end.

They tied him down to long contract so no rush to sell but I'd imagine if someone came in with £25m to £30m they'd sell.

Agent seems to be saying wants to move back to France and to Marseille. Maybe personal reasons.

Because of his age, I think he'll just want to move to a big club and play European football. He's a regular French international so why not?

Marseille are 6th and well off pace in France so don't look like going to be in Europe next year. Don't know if they are in Europe ATM though?

Costa to China would make my day!

Sky Sources: Costa has not trained for three days after becoming unsettled by £30m-a-year offer from club in China [HASHTAG]#SSNHQ[/HASHTAG]
