A certain striker is in the limelight in the form of Benfica star Raul Jimenez but reports suggest the Merseysiders are looking to sign him next summer as a potential replacement for Daniel Sturridge (Squawka Exclusive).
The 25-year-old Mexican international has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 18 games for the Primeira Liga side this season

covering their arses. no buying cos we made it up but we say its the summer so you forget we made it up by then

Think he has place in squad, especially as we are really short in CM.

if Lucas goes then only really left with 4 first team midfielders which isn't ideal. Think game yesterday showed we need back up in that area as don't have luxury to rotate when one is injured.

You never mentioned stewart in your post. only that we need back up in that area. and don't have the luxury to rotate.

and yeah i saw that training ground goal. I also saw joe hart score and overhead in training but i don't want him in midfield either.

The post I replied to was about Stewart and my first paragraph was about him.

Good goal wasnt it ;)

Youre as bad as Jimmy with Lucas, only worse as you won't give young guy a chance
