Inter put Lucas interest on hold
Inter Milan have put their pursuit of Lucas Leiva on hold, according to reports.

Calcio Mercato say Inter have instead made Atalanta midfielder Roberto Gagliardini their No 1 target.

Gazzetta dello Sport reportedly as recently as Thursday that Lucas’ loan move to Inter was virtually a done deal but the transfer now appears to be in the balance.

Italian clubs should be forced to make a £1m downpayment to us before we even take their call

Interested to see City's new signing, Gabriel Jesus. Seem him couple times for Brazil and looks a talent, good goal scoring record for 19 year old.

Players normally struggle coming straight from S America to Prem though, normally having a stint in Europe first gets them a bit more acclimatised.

They have seen the Chelsea model of having a semi decent Brazilian player and selling to China for silly money lol.

Has he got a work permit then?

We always got shafted on that and had to send out on loan to a European club first.

I think either he or Ousmane Dembele will be future Ballon D'or winners. Insanely talented.

Talking of..have our African and Brazilian kids done enough out in Europe to actually play back our way?
Following the Chelsea model, let them earn a name then sell them at a big profit without ever having to train them <ok>

Making a profit on transfers is what the business is about for some owners :emoticon-0100-smile

Maybe...or at least one of them needed to play in Europe because he didn't have enough international points...

Either way eh?

It was obviously too easy to talk about owners and skimming profit @Diego :emoticon-0100-smile
I really do think your owners are skimming way more than most. Very low transfer spendage (investment in team) for years, lending the club the money to build a new stand so they can carry on drawing dividends whilst getting paid the loan back, trying to rip the punters off with ticket prices. Lets just say they don't have the interest of the club as a priority.

Latest latest latest ...

Hart - Possible / Not happening
Pulisic - Not happening
Forsberg - Possible alternative
Jimenez - Happening
Lucas - Staying (possibly)

Fenerbache want to sign navas for £17m apparently. Some managers must see a completely different player to me as he's a guy that has no skill, all he does is square up a defender jink it down the line to free up a yard then smash the ball low which often gets cut out at near post. Can't score either. Like the least dangerous winger going
I thought he was skilful but just really really **** at City.
