He obviously wants to stay here but it does seem relationships have gone past the breaking point and it'll be best for everyone that he moves on. At his age he should be in his prime and needs to be playing regularly to get back in France squad for the WC. Shame as I like sakho, good player and seems like he brings a bit of fun and enjoyment.
I'm sure there has to be something serious behind the scenes. Being late to a dinner etc is annoying but is it worth complete exile?
Its not the most exciting transfer news Makes sense to have first team and youths together... allows them to see the first team training and adds it of extra motivation.
Exasperation at the negativity over a 19yr old who's had one serious injury. Relax and enjoy that he's back.
Tut tut. Can't belieave he went off topic...on this board of all boards! Is anyone watching the Bake off final tonight?
I can see the benefits of combining the 1st team and youth teams. If you want the youth team players to come into the first XI and do so seamlessly, then practising on the pitch next to the first, watching and learning from the first XI as well as Klopp can only be beneficial. Moving away from Melwood, the traditional home of our first team for many years, will be an adjustment period, but the Kirby site is bigger, then can build all the extra units they need there and have a better sports science facility too.. Klopp, when he builds for the future, he means it!
Liverpool are set to sign Emeka Obi, (15) from Bury. The 6ft 5" centre back has already made his professional debut for the League One club.
And he'll be club trained when he gets to the first team... mito is going to enjoy this way too much.
