At least we can still recoup most of the money back - £4.7m for one of the best keepers in the BuLi is a steal.
He's still young, raw and he'll make errors - but plenty of talent to work with. Won't make a difference though because we still have John achterberg coaching our keepers. Every keeper has regressed under him.
I do have some shocking and distressing news which I don't think anyone saw coming: Adam Bogdan is expected to leave the club this summer. #LFC (James Pearce) Whoever thought this guy was good enough for LFC needs to be shot.
West Ham have had a £25m bid rejected for Wilson and Ritchie from Bournemouth... they eh really are tying to splash the cash this summer!
Stats on keepers are notoriously hard to compare. Mainz are a small club so like ff teams if you get a small team with a decent keeper they make lots of saves cos they are always under pressure. It'd be like saying Mingolet is second best distributor off those stats without seeing the others pass it or kick it... we know he's pants but has improved short under Klopp.
True...but then the average distance helps with that...Barca keeper obviously passes straight to back four as they like to build from back... Migs mixes it up passing to back four but we know his kicks are normally midrange and wide unless pressured .. As you say hard to tell from stats alone...as Migs appears to have a higher distribution success rate and yet we know because he takes so long at getting rid that that success rate is undermined by the opposition being in position to immediately put pressure on the recipient.
SOUTHAMPTON STRIKER SET FOR SPAIN RETURN Southampton striker Juanmi is set to return to Spain in a cut price deal 12 months after arriving at St. Mary's.
