I've scientifically analysed the situation

Joe Allen 5'6"
Zielinski 5'10"
Can 6'1"

Ergo Zielinski is better than allen but not as good as can.

Simples.

Just cos cruyff ended such thinking at la masia doesn't mean I'm not wrong in this.

Yes kicking a ball straight is important but this is england and in England the taller man trumps the short arse 90% of the time.

Is this why Felliani is boss?

Deal Imminent: Liverpool to complete next major signing on Wednesday

According to Polish news outlet Przeglad Sportowy, the Reds could finalise negotiations with Zielinski's representatives today and the 21-year-old will put pen to paper on a contract on Wednesday.
Udinese sporting director Cristiano Giaretta last month confirmed there is 'concrete interest' from Liverpool and a bid of £12m has reportedly been submitted.
The Poland international has spent the last two years on loan at Empoli and scored five goals in 35 appearances this season

As the season ends, the transfer window starts to creak open, although it isn't yet, and football clubs get all their deals lined up, ready to be completed with minimum fuss. That's how it's supposed to work but this year will be especially difficult for football clubs.
Many players in Europe will join up for Euro 2016 training camps this week, meaning they'll need the permission of a national team manager to process any transfer business. When Euro 2016 actually starts, the chance of a transfer decreases further, managers aren't going to want the disruption a transfer could bring midway through a tournament.
There's also the centenary edition Copa America, with players joining up for that over the next week or so, things are starting to move on very quickly.
With all that in mind, French club AS Monaco are trying to line up their summer with some advanced planning. L'Equipe says there are players the club would be happy to sell, players they really don't want to sell and others who could go for the right price.
One of the latter is Thomas Lemar, a 20 year old attacking midfielder who can also play on either wing. L'Equipe say Liverpool are interested in signing the player

ITKs on Twatter claim this one could be done sooner rather than later..
Never seen the lad play.. he's likely to be in the Poland squad for the Euro's will keep an eye out..

Why's the guy been on loan for 2 years?

If he was as good as people are saying then surely the parent club would be trying to keep him with them?

Or not?

Don't quite a few clubs on the continent do that with their younger players?
Example, Coman, Juve player on loan at Bayern, the boys quality, he could surely get a game at Juve but they loaned him out and he helped knock them out..

Yup. ****ing worldie that lad..

As long as nobody asks him to kick the ball straight.

It's not his fault he's a dirty thug and two managers converted him from a defensive player into a target man cos they are dinosaurs.

He'd be a brilliant player .... in the championship.

It's probably the case but just doesn't make sense to me.

If he's a good player then keep him, surely?!!

It's like us suddenly saying 'oh let's send Coutinho out on loan for a season'
Even 'let's send Allen out on loan for a season' would baffle me slightly.

Bloody Europeans and their friendliness <grr>

I believe Bayern are to buy Coman at the end of the loan.
