That's what he'll probably tell them to do, may start the game in certain positions but with that 3 he'd want them to be fluid, move all over the pitch, if we have a more defensive minded CM playing alongside Can, that will free them up even more!

Thats a first miss for utd... the real big boys flexing muscles... City are going to go nuts this summer IMO.

If LFC want an attacking player (not going to say gotze as that wet dream ****) well we better go do it very quick or we will be looking at scraps.

I think with us looking for CMs and defenders we should be well able to get klopps targets in.

Feel sorry for Dortmund, constantly losing their best players to Bayern

Hummels is also a miss. I think Utd have been keeping close tabs on him for a couple of seasons <laugh>

That's exactly what will happen. They're all fully capable of it too, would be devastating with the right striker.

Jurgen Klopp believes the exciting rise of Roberto Firmino should act as a warning not to judge Liverpool signings too soon. (James Pearce)

Can't see Coutinho ever playing centrally with Firmino here and potentially Gotze arriving.

I maintain his best position is in CM in a 3 man midfield.

Not saying we don't need players further up the pitch.. but given the fact that Klopp has turned us into 2016 top scorers, don't think scoring is biggest concern.
If we can keep it tight at the back and with better cover in midfield, then some of the stupid leads we threw away wouldn't have been thrown away!
Sunderland, Newcastle and Southampton, no team should look to lose 2-0 leads like we did! just those three games (and there's been loads more this year), we'd be 7 points better off, which would have us level with City!

****ing Bayern taking from Dortmund again. Weakening their main rival to strengthen their own.

Yes, but they've a pretty good scouting network, they've most likely lined up Hummels replacement already.
Sell him for 35M+ and get his replacement for less than half that..

I do agree more or less.

before league cup final we were not great. since then we've improved.

If you look at january, thats when we really blew the league. we've done ok since, just ok for top 4 but we lost loads of points in January as the games piled up.

I do agree, We drew lots at home (7 including west brom, newkise, sunderland) and lost 7 away as well due to rank defending... (watford prime example) so yeah you are right defending has been an achilles heel.

I think we've enough strikers but we've lacked cover in the firmino, coutinho, lallana area. so... yeah i think we need another player there but probably yes we'll see 6/7 players in midfield and the back.

Arbeloa leaving Madrid end of season. Available on a free, 33 but could do a decent job as back up at LB and RB

Unsung hero in my opinion, one of the reasons we were defensively sound under Rafa..
But.. he's past it now, good luck to the lad in the future!
