Lol people were questioning Sturridge's desire and mentality to play for us when he was injured but now complaining when he says he wants to be starting every game.
The guy is a top level striker - some fans say he needs to prove that he's good enough to be starting - I'm sure he's scored around 7 goals in 9 games
I suppose some fans would be happy if we had a squad of choirboys who don't speak.

There's no questioning his talent. I have a deep concern about his attitude though.....not that he's dispoointed not to be playing, that's normal....but there's no room for a sulking prima-donna. It rubs off on others too. That said, was good to see him crack a brief smile at Klopp yesterday......but I'm not convinced, even if I really wanna be!

No one is questioning his talent, it's his desire. The guys need injured for a while but we all know he wouldn't tout himself out and play unless he felt 100% and any small knock he made a big deal of, he needs to get his head down, not complain and start talking about leaving. It's not a good way to endear yourself to the fans.
Yeah...it struck me last night that he's a bit of a Michael Owen. In fact this was reinforced when I listened to Owen talk about him in the studio.
I don't care as long as he puts the effort in and man's up a bit when he gets a niggle. He just won't get a lot of sympathy because it's hard to like him sometimes.
yeah... i mean LFC have at least got 4 strikers now so if we've a moody ****er who scores 1/2 min and a tall ****er who comes on and origi who can run about... well this is important for me.
I would hope we look at second line next year to consistency... we haven't the work rate consistent enough there.
Ings coming back will add, at the very least the work rate, he's got a decent goal scoring record too, he's no Kane but I'm sure he could chip in with close to 10 goals a season, and that from your 3rd maybe 4th choice striker isn't bad!

Benteke is gone, but get someone in to replace him and that can add 10 goals too, that;s close to 50+ from our strikers.
The likes of our Midfield should be able to add 20 between them..
Our main area of concern is still our defence/goalie and maybe a quality player to play alongside Emre, we address these then who the **** knows what we could do...

seriously though we've seen the major issues at the back and in midfield and in the second line forwards... simply put theres zero competition for coutinho lallana and firmino and that means they also can't play the high press all the time week in week out.
We've seen ojo and ibe come in which proves the point.
I think klopp saw it and wanted teixteria who ****ed off to china like a greedy ****.
We need to look at the back and thi area as prime klopp areas. CB,LB, CM ,ACM/RW thats hummels, hector, zeilinski and gotze to you and me btw.

Moreno needs better backup or someone that will give him a hard time keeping his starting place. LB
A CB replace Kolo, Skrtel and cover fo Sahko's ban, we have Gomez, Lovern and Matip. CB
A quality partner for Can, Milner will do a job but a quality CM pairing will help provide defensive cover as well as seeing and playing that forward pass in order to get moves going quicker, also help with ball retention. CM
Think Klopp also wants a winger or attacking midfielder, plus a striker to replace Benteke, AM + CF

Agreed - similar to Emre Can who clearly isn't good enough for Liverpool and we should look to sell immediately.
