Can't help but think that Sturridge will be offloaded this summer. Klopp just doesn't appear to trust him to put a shift in and he doesn't operate well in his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation. If the rumours about PSG were true, I'd be happy with a cool £50m.

We also need new CB's.....two now that that knobhead Sahko cheated. And a LB.
In Midfield, with the exception of Coutinho, we lack flair and width....and defensive cover.
Throw in the annual need for a keeper; a new #1 or decent cover....whatever....either way, we need one.
Could be a busy summer. I know Klopp is on record saying he doesn't want massive changes but I think he'll have to;

1 x creative midfielder
1 x CM (one of Lucas and Allen will move on)
1 x first team forward (3 players inc Origi & Ings competing for one spot)
It's too many, I know.....I hate making so many changes every year because we've bought so poorly....perhaps the youngsters will step up....

I agree that too many changes is never a good thing, I'm always thinking maybe 2 per window - but this seems different, purely because he doesn't have much choice! We've got so many players that aren't good enough it's a major rebuild needed - exactly why I don't see us doing too well next season.
I think we'll have to hold tight and give Klopp another season of trial and error, and let rip the following season.
I know he's good but to build a new team and get them performing to trophy winning standard next season would be a miracle in all honesty.
We'll see I guess. I just hope people are patient. There's nothing wrong with criticism, and I've recently criticised Klopp. I just hope the idiots with planes and banners don't get too precious next season if things aren't going great.

He will be desperate to succeed and is a type of player we don't have. If his attitude is actually bad we'll ship him out in due course.
Always worth remembering he's a young guy in a new country, tonnes of pressure, played out of position, zero faith shown in him in a team that was collapsing.
If Markovic is played in his correct position and does not come with attitude he may do well. If he comes with the "billy big bollocks" attitude Klopp will ship him out

Players like markovich should be looking at us this year, looking at Klopp and thinking I could really make a name for myself here.
Team am haven't been great so no one is guaranteed a place next season so spars are up for grabs and Klopp has improved 90% of the players he's worked with over last 6 years so young players should be looking to take this opportunity with both hands.

But every eord uttered since Rogers was dispatched was crappy from him. He's mouthed off about going so chuff off to obscurity. Attitude stunk imo.
